Donna Evans-Deyermond began her career as a reporter in the newspaper business more than 30 years ago. She transitioned into public relations and ghost writing, authoring books on bankruptcy and Social Security Disability for her clients, in addition to countless newsletters, brochures, advertisements and op-ed pieces. She has been published under her own name in the Buffalo News, Buffalo Spree and Forever Young Magazines (for which she wrote award-winning articles) the New York Post and the Toronto Globe.
Evans-Deyermond her husband, Cal, travel often and owned a home in Sayulita, Mexico (which they rented extensively on home-sharing sites) for more than 12 years, and are looking forward to more new experiences when they begin renting their new condo in La Cruz, Mexico. Her book (first to be published under her own name) is: Host for the Most–a how-to for homeowners looking to be successful renting rooms, apartments and homes on the popular home-sharing rental sites.
Host for the Most is written in an easy-to-read, entertaining voice, and is packed with useful information. This “how-to” morphs into a memoir with laugh-out-loud anecdotes about Evans-Deyermond’s personal experiences.
